Computer Initial Setup

Customize Thunderbird

  1. Extensions:
  2. Fonts (in Linux): Variable=Sans Serif 18px, Serif=Nimbus Roman No9 L, Sans-serif=DejaVu Sans, Monospace=DejaVu Sans Mono 16px.

Windows Explorer

  1. To open Explorer at C:\ in explore mode by default when pressing winkey+E:
    1. Open Registry Editor to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Folder \ shell \ explore
    2. Export key to backup
    3. In ddeexec, change value for (default) to
      [ExploreFolder("%l", %I, %S)]
    4. In command, change value for (default) to
      %SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /e,/idlist,%I,%L
