If you want added protection, you can always include <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Array/forEach#Compatibility" rel="nofollow">this polyfill</a> from Mozilla's developer docs which will enable the method for IE7/8 and other older browsers. I am only using Array.forEach in the block of code that will run only under IE9.
